Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
• “Company” refers to Sweat Equity Home Services LLC, which is providing the services.
• “Client” refers to the individual or entity requesting and receiving services.
• “Services” refers to any repair, maintenance, installation, or related work performed by the Company.
2. Scope of Work
• All Services will be performed as described in the written estimate or agreed‑upon scope.
• Any additional work requested by the Client that is not included in the original estimate will be billed separately.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse work that is unsafe, outside its expertise, or violates building codes or regulations.
3. Estimates & Pricing
• Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time and may change if unforeseen issues arise.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Pricing may be based on hourly rates, flat fees, or materials plus labor, depending on the job.
• The Client will be informed of any changes to the estimate before additional work is performed.
4. Materials
• The Company may supply materials, or the Client may choose to provide their own.
• If the Client provides materials, the Company is not responsible for delays, defects, or failures caused by those materials.
• Materials supplied by the Company remain the property of the Company until paid in full.
5. Scheduling & Access
• The Client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
• Appointment times are approximate; delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
• If the Client is not present or access is not available at the scheduled time, a call‑out or cancellation fee equivalent to one hour of labor ($60) will be billed.
6. Payment Terms
• Payment is due upon completion of Services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Deposits may be required for large projects or material purchases.
• Accepted payment methods may include cash, check, credit card, or third-party payment service (including Venmo and Zelle).
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one hour of labor ($60) will be billed.
• The Company reserves the right to reschedule work due to weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond its control.
8. Warranty & Liability
• The Company provides a 30-day limited workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated.
• Warranty does not cover:
o Normal wear and tear.
o Misuse or neglect.
o Work altered by anyone other than the Company.
• The Company is not liable for:
o Pre‑existing issues.
o Hidden defects.
o Incidental or consequential damages.
o Any manufacturer warranties on materials apply only as provided by the manufacturer.
9. Client Responsibilities
• The Client must disclose any known hazards, structural issues, or relevant property information.
• The Client is responsible for securing pets, valuables, and personal items.
• The Client must obtain any required permits unless otherwise agreed.
10. Health & Safety
• The Company follows standard safety practices and may refuse work that presents unsafe conditions.
• The Client agrees to maintain a safe environment for the duration of the work.
11. Termination
• Either party may terminate the agreement if the other party breaches these Terms & Conditions.
• The Client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.
12. Governing Law
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the Services are performed.
13. Limitations
• The Company offers unlicensed, handyman services and residential inspections as such the Client acknowledges the Company is limited in the type and scope of work to be performed. The Company is insured and will perform work within the parameters of its policy.
14. Acceptance
• By requesting or accepting Services from the Company, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
